We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant/Associate Professor of Kinesiology to join our Department of Kinesiology, Health Promotion and Recreation. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of physical activity implementation and health disparities research, while mentoring and teaching the next generation of leaders in the field. About the Position: Rank: Assistant/Associate Professor Department: Kinesiology, Health Promotion and Recreation Location: Denton, TX (remote options available) Start Date: Fall 2024 Salary: Competitive salary and benefits package Job Summary: We are looking for a talented and passionate individual to join our team as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Kinesiology, with a focus on physical activity implementation and health disparities. The successful candidate will have a strong research background, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to working with diverse student populations. The ideal candidate will also have experience in building and sustaining community partnerships, as well as a potential for obtaining external grant or industry funding.
