Our partner school in Taylor, Michigan is looking to find a kind and compassionate School Social Worker (SW) to join our Special Education team for the upcoming school year. As a School Social Worker, you will be providing essential support to our students facing social, emotional, economic, and environmental challenges! Requirements: • Must have a Masters Degree in School Social Work • Must have an active or temporary approval School Social Work License for the state of Michigan OR SSW 310 Credential Letter from University • Previous experience preferred, but not required. Position Details: • Upcoming School Year • Full-Time: up to 40 hours per week • Caseload details will be discussed during the interview process. • Pay Range: $30 - $50 per hour, depending on previous experience General Responsibilities: • Assess the social and emotional needs of students and develop intervention strategies to address these needs. • Provide direct support services through counseling, crisis intervention, and case management. • Serve as a liaison between the school and external agencies, facilitating access to community resources for students and families.
