Junior Manager Operations, Digital Americas NYC Position title: Ziele der Stelle / Purpose and objectives of the job: As a key member of the Americas Digital Operations team, the Jr. Manager Operations will collaborate closely with the Senior Operations Manager and Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize all operational processes for Birkenstock's Canadian digital distribution channel. This includes managing warehousing, transportation, customer support, and payment workflows to ensure seamless execution. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring and driving the daily performance of our third-party service providers, ensuring they consistently meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs) and deliver best-in-class service to our customers. By analyzing operational metrics and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the growth of Birkenstock's digital presence in Canada. Tasks and responsibilities: • Monitor daily warehouse operations ensuring proper execution of pick/pack/ship, inbound receiving and returns process in collaboration with our Canadian 3PL • Daily review and reporting of operational KPIs ensuring vendor compliance • Proactively identify and implement best practices to improve performance across all warehouse functions including inbound, outbound, returns, and inventory managment • Lead regular status calls and engage with 3PL on a daily basis to review metrics and project status • Collaborate with 3PL on reviewing and establishing warehouse standard operating procedures (SOP) to achive a highly efficient operation • Generate monthy forecasts and support warehouse 3PL in proper staff planning • Support in the project management for local market operational projects, as well as company-wide projects with respect to operational components • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy across systems • Track and analyze transportation spend • Serve as point of contact for customer service team to trouble shoot any customer issues • Foster communication and collaboration across the organization to ensure all processes are followed and targets achieved • • Interfaces / Relationships: • Direct interface to local fulfillment providers across all services • Close liason with Birkenstock teams in the areas of operations, customer service, IT, finance, and inventory management Competencies: • High degree of customer orientation and service-oriented mindset • Experience managing 3PL operations for a D2C brand • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize and escalate internally and externally • Critical thinker with attention to detail • Data-driven mindset with ability to turn data into actionable insights • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal • Industry benchmark know-how 1 / 3 Positionsprofil / Job Description Qualifications: • Education • BA in business, logistics, supply chain, process management, engineering or similar degree • Professional experience • Demonstrated 3+ years working in an operational role, preferably in a digital environment with focus on fashion/ consumer goods • Specialty Know-how • Experience with order management, customer service tools and ERP systems • Project management skills • Vendor management experience • Transportation management experience • Language Skills and competency level • English • IT skills • Strong MS office excel skills and proficiency in other MS office applications • Experience working with an OMS • SAP knowledge a plus Personal Skills • Disciplined, structured and conceptual approach • High level of responsibility and accountability • Affinity for process-focused thinking and problem-solving mindset • Comfortable in and adaptable to rapidly changing conditions • Passionate and curious about operations management • Highly organized with excellent time management skills Working conditions: • Involvement with local and global teams with diverse cultures • Ability to travel to 3PL (based in Canada) as needed (2-4x annually) Sonstiges / Others: • • Please send resumes to [email protected] with subject reading “Junior Manager Kontakt/Contact: Operations Digital”. 18 Wenn dieses Positionsprofil nicht im Zusammenhang mit einer Personalanforderung erstellt wird: If this job descripition is not created in relation to a personnel requisition: Gehalt / Salary: $85k-$95k Anzahl eigener direct reports/ None Number of own direct reports Berichtet an/ Manager Operations Reports to Bereich / Birkenstock Digital Americas Business Unit 2 / 3 Positionsprofil / Job Description Abteilung / Digital Department Arbeitsort / New York, New York/USA (remote) Location 3 / 3 Apply Job!  Join Our Team!
