Location: Remote (Serving Students in Illinois)
Job Type: Contract (1099)
Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team on a contract basis. This 1099 position is perfect for a self-motivated educator dedicated to providing high-quality special education services to students in a virtual learning environment.
Key Responsibilities: ? Deliver Specialized Instruction ? Develop and Implement IEPs ? Monitor Student Progress ? Collaborate Virtually ? Compliance and Documentation ? Professional Development
Qualifications: ? Education: Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Special Education or a related field. ? Certification: Valid LBS1 and PEL. ? Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in special education, with prior virtual teaching experience preferred. ? Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills. Ability to work independently and manage a virtual classroom effectively. ? Technology: Proficiency with video conferencing tools and virtual learning platforms.
