Job Description:
As a Full-Time Center Associate at UPS, you will be an integral part of our operations team. This position involves a variety of tasks such as package sorting, scanning, and loading/unloading, as well as assisting customers with their shipping needs. Your role will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of our centers and ensure high-quality service for customers.
Responsibilities:
? Sort and organize packages efficiently in the center.
? Scan packages using handheld devices to track and monitor shipments.
? Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles.
? Assist customers with package drop-off, pick-up, and shipping inquiries.
? Ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times.
? Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
? High school diploma or equivalent.
? Strong physical ability to lift and move packages (up to 70 lbs).
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
? Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
? Previous experience in logistics or a related field is a plus but not required.
? A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
