IT Technician - Remote

Today, YA has over 800 professionals dedicated to excellence, partnership, and driving innovation. Summary: YA is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented IT Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and assistance to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of systems, hardware, and software. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of IT systems, and the ability to communicate effectively with users of varying technical expertise. Must be in Eastern Time Zone Role & Responsibilities: • Monitor the Tech Support ticket queue and ensure all requests are handled promptly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. • Assist with the setup and maintenance of user accounts and permissions. • Document and track issues, resolutions, and work performed in a ticketing system. • Provide training and guidance to users on best practices and IT policies. • Collaborate with other IT team members to address complex issues and improve overall IT service delivery. • Stay updated on the latest technology trends and advancements. • Collaborate with other IT team members to improve service delivery and support processes. • Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a customer-service orientation. • Possess a strong self-starter mentality to go out and find things to improve within IT operations. • Complete quality work on time, managing competing priorities and cross-functional projects. • Other projects as assigned. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred. • Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems. iPad OS is a plus. • Familiarity with network troubleshooting and basic network concepts. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus. • Experience managing Microsoft 365 cloud services (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, etc.) • A self-starter and eager to learn.
