Job Description Summary Job Description Essential Functions / Responsibilities: Serve as a technical and clinical leader to enable and advance the business’ strategy through market and technical research. Use medical and clinical evidence in support of commercial goals and build technical credibility for the franchise. Gather information to determine clinical marketing roadmaps and scientific marketing strategies for MRI equipment and solutions. Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to translate technical concepts into sales strategies. Support Evidence Generation and Curation’ efforts which involves creating and executing plans to acquire clinical magnetic resonance (MR) images that illustrate strategic marketing outcomes. Collaborate with product development teams; contribute laboratory time to acquire images; and perform expert image reviews and processing for professional presentation formats. Support Customer Experiences by establishing goals for customer visits to the Magnetic Resonance (MR) headquarters building, as well as preparing and hosting multiple customer-visits each year. Attend multiple scientific congresses or tradeshows and provide product demonstrations to customers. Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or related field. Seven (7) years of experience in Magnetic Resonance (MR) within a clinical setting, product development for clinical marketing, or a combination thereof. Employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or related field and five (5) years of experience in Magnetic Resonance (MR) within a clinical setting, product development for clinical marketing, or a combination thereof in lieu of a Bachelors degree or equivalent and seven (7) years of experience as described above. Work experience to include: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) system operation for engineering product development; Creating scientific marketing strategies for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment and solutions; Hosting customer sales visits and presentations for technical and clinical topics; Developing, revising, and optimizing MR scanning protocols; Completing routine and complex clinical MR exams including patient positioning, protocol implementation, and equipment setup; and Identifying and mitigating MR safety risks related to the use of non-standard equipment, patient preparation, patient positioning, and software compliance. Approximately 8% domestic and 8% international travel to support commercial tradeshows and provide on-site product demonstrations, as well as to attend meetings and other scientific congress meetings or customer events.
