Full Stack Developer (IBM i / AS400)

Job description • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 - 5 years of Full Stack Development experience with Java / JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS with Angular / REACT experience and know how to design a great UI / UX. You conceptualize and build clear, quality code to create the best software. You will test your code, identify errors, and iterate to ensure quality code. You may work on internal and customer driven projects. Good team software development skills. Able to stay motivated while working remotely from home while keeping open communication with management and peers. You have some working knowledge of how to Use AI to help get the job done in a developer assisted approach. Familiarity with tools such as MS Teams / JIRA / Trello / Azure DevOps -Kanban boards Highly desirable – nor required:. CA PLEX experience with a good understanding of model driven development and application maintenance. You have a good understanding of CA PLEX function navigation to learn new application models quickly. Responsibilities • Work with our team on customer projects to extend functionality based on direct communication with customers and work descriptions in a Ticketing system • Write clear quality code for software and applications and perform unit testing • Detect and troubleshoot software issues • Develop, implement, and test APIs • Provide input on software development projects Qualifications Must Have • Highly motivated to get the job done well in a remote environment • Good Oral / written communication skills - understand how to communicate internally and to customers when requested. • Comfortable using programming languages and relational databases (Java / SQL) • Experience with Agile SCRUM development environment • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills • 2 – 5 years minimum experience Qualifications (Nice to have) • 5 - 10 years + CA Plex experience • Nice to have: Skills in C++ / C# • Capable of "Big Picture" Software Architecture thinking If you are a talented Developer looking for an opportunity to work on challenging projects in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
