FP&A Analyst - Remote

TE Connectivity is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst supporting the Global Automotive Business Unit. In this role, you will partner with Finance and non-Finance functional leaders around the world developing, interpreting, and presenting financial results. Analyses performed will be critical to deliver actionable insights, maintain robust financial models, and ensure accurate reporting that supports organizational goals. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across multiple functions in a global environment. Job Requirements • Financial Reporting & Consolidation: Prepare detailed reports, financial statements and presentations with insight and commentary. These reports are then presented to senior management and stakeholders to understand the financial implications of results and business decisions. • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, update, and maintain financial models and comprehensive forecasts. Provide detailed financial budgets and monthly financial forecasts based on historical performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives • Operating Expenses Analysis and Control: Monitor and control SG&A expenses, conduct reviews with key business partners, coordinate evaluations of investment and cost-reduction opportunities • Month close activities: Prepare, review and coordinate with Financial Shared Service to make month end entries (accrual expenses, reversals); partner with regional finance teams to consolidate and interpret monthly results • Business partnership: Provide clear, data-driven insights to senior management for operational and strategic decisions. Work closely with Global Operations and Product Management Finance teams to provide financial insights for data-driven decision making • Data Management: Manage data flow between financial systems and tools, drive automation and standardization of reporting and analytics globally • TEOA-F and Process Improvement: Evaluating current financial planning and analysis processes, recommending and implementing changes to improve these processes and systems • Communication with Corporate, Segment, and regional finance teams • Ad-hoc analysis to support business decision-making What your background should look like • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, in finance, accounting or related field • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in FP&A, or related financial roles • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Excel data analysis and other Microsoft suite applications; experience with SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Hyperion Financial Planning is preferred; Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards • Communication & Influence: Ability to present financial data and insights clearly and persuasively to stakeholders Competencies Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork COMPENSATION • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $89,700 – $112,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location) • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
