About the Role As a Student Success Coach at blithequark, you will be the mentor who helps students strive for academic excellence. You will work closely with each student throughout their learning experience, providing guidance, support, and encouragement to help them achieve their goals. This is a remote role, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home office, with a scheduled 40-hour workweek. Key Responsibilities Support enrollment, student development, and retention services to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all students. Manage a group of assigned students, coaching them through their degree program with proactive and timely outreach. Provide daily and weekly support to students as they work to develop the skills and knowledge needed for academic success. Create a trusted environment where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests. Teach students how to utilize resources to maximize their success and achieve their goals. Become a certified resume reviewer, providing resume and career development support to students. Act as a liaison between students and various departments, ensuring seamless communication and support. Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Student Success Coach at blithequark, you will need: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent). Two or more years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, or counseling. Knowledge of academic policies and procedures. The ability to quickly learn technical skills and adapt to new systems. Excellent communication and listening skills, with a pleasant phone manner. A strong customer support focus, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications can enhance your application: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment. Knowledge of student success strategies and best practices. Certification in resume writing or career coaching.
