Our Patient Customer Service department within the Revenue Cycle Management Division is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Remote Data Entry Customer Care Support Specialist to join our team. As a valued employee, you'll play a critical role in delivering exemplary customer experiences through innovation and continuous improvement. About the Role As a Remote Data Entry Customer Care Support Specialist, you'll be the face of Labcorp's customer service, providing top-notch support to patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers. You'll be responsible for: Answering 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's offices, and private insurance carriers, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries. Utilizing multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Managing performance goals and striving for excellence in customer service, with a focus on continuous improvement. Becoming proficient with processes after completing a structured training program, showcasing adaptability and a willingness to learn. Demonstrating proficiency in navigating multiple computer screens and applications, with alpha-numeric data entry skills. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Previous medical and/or call center experience a plus, but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in navigating multiple computer screens and applications, with alpha-numeric data entry skills. Ability to connect equipment to router/modem with Ethernet cord; equipment cannot be connected through Wi-Fi, mobile routers, or mobile hotspot with ethernet port. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in healthcare or a related field. Certifications in customer service or a related field. Proficiency in multiple software applications and systems.
