About the Role: Pharmacy Technician Call Center - HYBRID We're seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our hybrid call center team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to medical and pharmacy providers, handling prior authorizations, and resolving claims inquiries. If you have a strong background in pharmacy operations and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming telephone inquiries from providers regarding prior authorizations and claims in a professional and courteous manner. Interpret chart notes, communicate with team members, and perform various duties to support our clients. Meet or exceed key performance indicators, achieving service level agreements and maintaining a high level of productivity. Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills, resolving issues and de-escalating upset callers. Multitask by speaking and typing concurrently, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Participate productively as a team member, accepting instruction and direction from leadership while managing tasks independently. Comply with contract requirements, business unit rules, and related legal regulations. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A minimum of 2 recent years of pharmacy experience, preferably in a retail pharmacy setting, with a strong customer service background. Knowledge of the prior authorization process and experience working with Medicaid or Medicare. Excellent communication and problem-resolution skills, with the ability to de-escalate upset callers. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. Ability to work the required shift (11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a Saturday rotation) and be located within 50 miles of Newark, DE. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Experience working in a metric-driven environment, meeting specific service level agreements (SLAs). A dedicated team player with a positive demeanor and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
