Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst and Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our Global Merchant and Network Services (GM&NS) Pricing team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through data-driven insights and exceptional customer experience. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze and report on merchant discount income, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Create a Canada figure for merchant discount income and track monthly performance against forecast, identifying drivers of change Develop merchant discount income scorecards for the Canada region Drive standardization and process improvement among the different regional pricing teams for all reporting and forecasting related activities Support external audits, including investigating issues found, communicating with regional pricing teams, and managing resolutions Perform ad-hoc data analysis to assess discount rate trends and uncover insights Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 2+ years of experience in financial services or payments industry, or other related financial roles A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business (or a related field) High proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills, with the ability to develop complex financial models and draw value-added insights from large datasets Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SAS/SQL) is required Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to influence others and build strong relationships A strong work ethic and ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple requests and manage competing deadlines A customer-centric approach, with a proven track record of understanding and addressing customer needs and pain points Experience working with data visualization tools and techniques Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence others A strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines A customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
