As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, while still being part of a collaborative and results-driven team. **Key Responsibilities:** As a Customs Trade Coordinator, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Processing and verifying customs clearance documentation, including import and export records, certificates of origin, and commercial invoices * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and any issues or discrepancies * Collaborating with internal teams, including sales, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination * Processing organization financier shipments and handling distant filings as required * Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including those related to customs clearance, trade compliance, and data security * Performing other duties as assigned, including special projects and tasks related to customs clearance and trade compliance **Essential Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as international trade, logistics, or business administration * At least 6 months of experience in a data entry or administrative role, preferably in a logistics or transportation company * Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures, including import and export regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements * Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook * Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to handle high volumes of work and meet tight deadlines * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions **Preferred Qualifications:** * HS Certificate or GED * Industry experience in logistics, transportation, or international trade * Familiarity with trade compliance software and systems, including customs clearance platforms and trade management systems * Experience working with government agencies, including customs and border protection * Strong knowledge of international trade laws and regulations, including those related to customs clearance, tariffs, and trade compliance **Skills and Competencies:** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions * Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to handle high volumes of work and meet tight deadlines * Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures, including import and export regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements * Familiarity with trade compliance software and systems, including customs clearance platforms and trade management systems **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** As a Customs Trade Coordinator at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in customs clearance, trade compliance, and logistics.
