About the Role This position is an integral part of our customer service team, where you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers. You'll be working closely with our team to resolve customer inquiries, address concerns, and ensure that every interaction with blithequark is nothing short of exceptional. Key Responsibilities Complete data access and balancing tasks Coordinate return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated accounting standard ledger balancing Work on member cases and tasks assigned Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products Log, report, and make necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns Process Stop Pays and Check Batching Complete daily balancing and department closing Obtain information from members for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer information Communicate with vendors to process fund transfers Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws Deposit check returns, research member bad checks on draft changes, process member checks, confirm members for outgoing fund transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing fund transfers Complete daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, foreign collections, and legal fees Qualifications and Requirements To succeed in this role, you'll need to meet the following minimum and preferred qualifications: Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED Intermediate Excel and Word experience Preferred Qualifications Previous customer/member service experience Previous banking or Credit Union experience Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience Skills, Licenses, and Certifications Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software Ability to work extended hours in support of business needs Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and function as an integral part of a team Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-volume pressure Ability to cross-train and perform any role assigned within the department Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and members Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Ability to self-motivate with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance Must pass relevant blithequark and Credit Union pre-hire compliance tests Career Growth and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
