About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key contributor to our customer service team, you will be responsible for fielding customer inquiries, finding innovative ways to respond to varying questions, issues, and concerns, and providing exceptional customer service through active listening. You will work in a collaborative and engaging environment, interacting with people from all walks of life, and no two days will be the same. Key Responsibilities Handle and carefully respond to all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner Provide excellent customer service through active listening, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed and resolved efficiently Work with confidential customer information and treat it sensitively, maintaining the highest level of data security and integrity Aim to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive, resourceful, and solution-focused Appropriately communicate with customers, providing clear and concise information, and ensuring that their needs are met Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, using effective conflict resolution techniques Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring that complex issues are addressed by the relevant teams Track all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records Provide feedback on call issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service processes Upsell if required, identifying opportunities to promote our products and services to customers Qualifications and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and competencies: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer support Must be 18 years of age or older Ability to type at least 25 words per minute, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable with desktop computer systems and have general knowledge of Windows-based systems Customer service and/or sales experience preferred, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations College degree preferred but not required, with a focus on continuous learning and professional development Key Competencies Process Excellence: Demonstrate commitment to following established procedures and be customer service driven Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and support departments to resolve customer issues and achieve performance goals Communication: Outstanding communication, listening, and analytical skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Emotional Intelligence: Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure while remaining focused, with a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy Open-Mindedness: Open-minded approach to feedback, evolving policies, and working within a structured schedule that includes a variety of shifts Critical Thinking: Sharp critical thinking skills, enabling quick analysis of customer issues and thoughtful, informed decision-making Solution-Oriented: Proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on creating a positive customer experience Work from Home Requirements To work from home, you will need to meet the following requirements: Internet Requirements: Minimum subscribed download rate equal or exceeds 15.0 Mbps Minimum subscribed upload rate equal or exceeds 5.0 Mbps ISP must have no packet loss and ping under 50ms Internet connections cannot be Satellite, Mobile Data (5G, 4G, 3G hotspots), P2P or VPN Proof of internet speed required Clean and quiet workspace, free from distractions and interruptions Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
