Our pharmacists play a vital role in the U.S. healthcare system by providing a wide range of pharmacy and healthcare services, including those that promote equitable access to care for underserved populations. **Job Summary** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Data Entry Remote Jobs (Work from Home) at Walgreens, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and clients, handling high-volume customer inquiries, and performing data entry tasks using Walgreens' pharmacy systems. You will work under the direct supervision of a manager and be accountable for adhering to company policies, procedures, and guidelines. **Key Responsibilities** * Utilize Walgreens' solution information entry techniques and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system. * Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. * Investigate to acquire missing medication data, and decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). * Resolve all data entry-related issues with special cases. * Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and resolve outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary. * Resolve External Exceptions by inspecting, gathering data, making revisions, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. * Resolve phone calls to guarantors and others to obtain data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise resolve External Exceptions. * Provide support to pharmacists, both in-store and remotely. * Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as necessary. **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent. * Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and close down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print reports, and access data online). * Basic web search skills to include opening a browser, typing URLs in the address bar, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating back/forward/stop buttons, and completing online forms. * Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing files). **Preferred Qualifications** * At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment. * At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with a license/enrollment by the state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification organization. * Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction. * Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing documents). * Familiarity with Spanish and English. **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At Walgreens, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
