We're now seeking an experienced Customer Service Agent to join our dynamic team, working in a hybrid environment that combines the comfort of home with the energy of our office in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. About the Role As a Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you will be the face and voice of our digital sportsbook operations, providing top-tier experiences for our patrons across the country. This role is perfect for someone who is outgoing, driven, and has a passion for building strong relationships. You will work overnight shifts, from 11:30 pm to 8 am, four out of five days per week, including weekdays and weekends. In return, you will earn a competitive hourly rate of $20.50, comprising a base rate of $19.50 plus a $1.00 shift differential. Key Responsibilities Communicate effectively with players and guests via live chat, email, and phone to ensure a seamless customer experience, providing comprehensive information on our mobile applications. Utilize internal resources and systems to view player account statuses and histories, assisting with conversations and resolving issues efficiently. Deliver an exclusive level of customer service that demonstrates friendliness, care, and builds value in the blithequark brand. Assist guests with booking hotel reservations and RSVPs to special events, meeting company conversion rate expectations. Operate our telephone system to manage call availability, answer and transfer inbound calls, and execute outbound calls as necessary. Answer player questions about blithequark, our products, account statuses, promotional offers, and event information. Follow standard operating procedures to escalate issues to internal departments and personnel, ensuring timely resolutions. Assist in securing business insights by dispositioning player contact reasons after each interaction. Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues using our internal tools and systems. Collaborate with leaders and team members to stay updated on daily trends impacting the player experience. Maintain a strong record of punctuality and attendance. About You To excel in this role, you must be at least 21 years of age, with a High School diploma or College Degree. You should have a heightened sense of urgency, a passion for learning, and a commitment to player satisfaction. Essential qualities include: A demonstrated passion for excellence in treating and caring for players. Ability to type quickly with good grammar and punctuation. Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking. Ability to maintain a friendly disposition under pressure. Great problem-solving abilities and the capacity to interpret incomplete or cryptic messages. Flexibility to work some holidays and weekends. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, having at least one year of experience in customer service or customer support is highly desirable. A background in sports wagering or online casino games, although not required, would be a significant advantage. You must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
