Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Agent to join our team in Waterloo, IA. As a Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for responding to a high volume of inbound phone calls, building customer relationships, and resolving customer challenges. You will work in a team-based environment, collaborating with sales team members and utilizing computer programs to provide exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Build customer relationships by responding to a high volume of inbound phone calls in a professional and courteous manner Work with customers and sales team members daily to resolve customer challenges and provide solutions Use a computer and multiple computer programs to manage customer accounts, process orders, and resolve issues Resolve pricing and invoicing discrepancies, apply credit, and implement return procedures as needed Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or retail environment Ability to commute to our facility from your home and have a secure workspace at home dedicated to job activity Proficiency in operating and navigating multiple PC-based programs at once, including Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software Stable internet with the ability to provide proof of internet speeds greater than 5 megabits per second upload, 15 megabits per second download, and ping less than 80 milliseconds Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a hybrid or remote environment Knowledge of inventory management and technical support principles Experience with customer service software and technology, such as CRM systems and helpdesk software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service to customers via phone, email, and other channels Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong technical skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems quickly Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
