Entry Level Environmental Engineer, Geologist or Scientist - Spring 2026

They are seeking an Entry-Level Geologist to join their Toronto Environmental team to work on site characterization and remediation projects, gaining field experience and supporting environmental compliance efforts. Responsibilities Work on site characterization and remediation projects for government and private-sector clients Gain valuable field experience with environmental sampling techniques and subcontractor oversight Balance field work with time spent in the office working on data interpretation and visualization, quantitative modeling, report writing and coordinating field work Ensure environmental compliance, environmental management, and health and safety while working on diverse projects Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering), Geology, or Environmental Science 0-2 years of experience within environmental consulting or related field Willing and able to travel for short to medium term assignments (within Canada) with overnight travel and flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required Able to travel and participate in remote project site work, and the ability to adapt to unexpected or inclement field conditions and changing schedules Legal right to work in Canada and a valid Class G Driver's License Must be local to Toronto Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment Experience with Microsoft Office software Experience with field methods for site characterization like soil logging, sampling soil, water, or soil vapor, and monitoring well installation Experience working on project sites and overseeing subcontractors Company Overview Jacobs leads the global professional services sector delivering solutions for a more connected, sustainable world.
