Job Summary As an Employee Relations Advisor at CVS Health, you will be responsible for providing proactive support and intervention to promote a positive employee relations culture. You will partner collaboratively with various cross-functional stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, Compliance, and Legal, to resolve employee relations issues while mitigating risk and adverse exposure to the company. This role requires a professional and calm demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively present and deliver training to leaders. Key Responsibilities Provide advice, consultation, and guidance to leaders and employees on the application of CVS Health policies and practices Support the resolution of employee relations issues, including performance management, attendance, employee misconduct, employee complaints, discipline, and termination Conduct workplace investigations and utilize employee relations case management systems Assist leaders with coaching, corrective actions, and terminations Meet case management metrics, such as closing cases within a certain time frame and following established case management processes Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion Develop and deliver training to leaders on employee relations topics Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to promote a positive employee relations culture Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: 5+ years of employee relations experience, including direct experience managing, advising, and resolving employee relations cases Experience conducting workplace investigations and utilizing employee relations case management systems (i.e., Salesforce) Knowledge of current state and federal employment/labor laws and regulations Bachelor's Degree required; equivalent work experience may substitute Preferred Qualifications: Direct experience interacting with labor unions and advising on labor relations matters Ability to assist and advise on the development of employee/labor relations trends and insights reporting Proven analytical skills, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills, including expertise in conflict management, investigation, negotiation, and influencing Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict management, investigation, and influencing Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At CVS Health, we invest in the growth and development of our employees.
