Job location : Arizona work from home - Must reside in ArizonannThe Data Entry Representative- Electronic Health Record (EHR) File Tech is an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team who functions under the direction and supervision of a Supervisor...nnThe position provides professional, courteous, and friendly assistance to our customers. The Data Entry Representative serves as a resource for internal customers by utilizing a number of resources such as established Cigna policies;nnprotocols and guidelines to ensure delivery of quality care within the guidelines of Evernorth Care Group, Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, and Procedures.nnResponsibilities and Essential FunctionsnnEnsures accurate placement of complex health information including, but not limited to clinical records, in the correct patient EHR within identified timeframes to ensure current patient information is available for continuity and quality of patient care.nnFiles documents accurately in the EHR according to approved filing structure, adapts to changes in processes and meets quality standards of 98% accuracy.nnAbility to reach and maintain 85% 100% quality assurance trust level in current EHR.nnAbility to achieve precise filing at a rate of 55 pages per hour.nnPrioritizes daily work to include problem solving and decision making, independently, with minimal direct supervision.nnManages own time and work. Understands and follows through with minimal direction from supervisor, clinicians, colleagues and peers.nnResearches patient information in computer to determine location of care, Medical Record Number, Medical Identification Number, medical terminology, etc.nnEvaluates issues and makes decisions autonomously for less complex issues. Seeks guidance from supervisor for complex issue resolution.nnPerforms quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy of filing.nnAppropriately tasks providers for review of scanned documents per accepted protocol.nnDemonstrates a positive customer service approach in all internal and external customer experiences.nnIdentifies opportunities for self-development. Understands expectations of developing additional competencies.nnShares information or concerns openly and honestly.nnMinimum QualificationsnnHigh School diploma or GED requirednnGeneral understanding of medical terminology, to include knowledge of : diagnostic and therapeutic studies and tests; specialty names; etc.nnOne year customer service in health care and PC skills requirednnA minimum of one year Health Information Technology experience preferrednnPrevious EHR experience required, Hyland OnBase Unity Client experience preferred.nnAbility to convey information to customers in a warm, clear, concise manner.nnGood oral and written communication skills required.nnDemonstrates positive customer service behaviorsnLess than 1 hour ago Apply tot his job
