Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Data entry clerk Job Title: Data entry clerk (Remote)Duration: 7 Months Location: Washington, WAAnticipated Start Date: ASAP(Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.)Job Type: Contract (40 hrs. a week)Pay Range: $24-$26/hr(Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).Work Schedule:Will be working PST time zone (must be in PST time zone, but not California) from 8:00 AM PST to 5:00 PM PST daily or can be in an EST time zone and work schedule would be from 11:00 AM EST to 8:00 PM EST daily.Technical Skills Attention to Detail and Accuracy a must.Commercial Insurance Certificate ManagementCommercial Insurance Program SupportExcellent Communication Skills Both Written and VerbalExcellent communication skills written and verbal.High Level of Data Entry AccuracyInsurance Industry ExperienceJob DescriptionCommercial Insurance Certificate Specialist Level 1 Job Responsibilities:Process insurance certificates / policy requests - Commercial Insurance linesAct as day-to-day subject matter expert on client policiesData managementData entryAbility to shift between priorities, as needed, throughout the workday while maintaining an established level of productivity using time management techniquesAbility to work required schedule based on location- 8:00 AM to 5: PM PST or 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST (Hour Unpaid Lunch) DailyRequired skills and experience that will lead to success:Interpreting client requirements and documents.Data management experience.Ability to work with data in Excel and proprietary systems.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to communicate well with clients, expert professionalism skills required.Data Entry experience and attention to detail, with exceptional accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate Excel skills required).Ability to pivot between multiple applications.Prior experience in the commercial insurance industry will be helpful and considered first.Education:College degree is preferred or High School Diploma/GED with Equivalent Experience.Company DescriptionAbout BCforward:Founded in 1998 on the idea that industry leaders needed a professional service, and workforce management expert, to fuel the development and execution of core business and technology strategies, BCforward is a Black-owned firm providing unique solutions supporting value capture and digital product delivery needs for organizations around the world.
