Our stores are designed to be welcoming, easy to navigate, and filled with a wide range of products that cater to diverse tastes and needs. **Key Responsibilities:** As a Customer Service Associate I, your duties will include: * Assisting customers with questions and recommendations to ensure they find the perfect products for their needs * Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash registers, maintaining accuracy and efficiency * Maintaining the security of cash and protecting company assets, adhering to our strict security protocols * Keeping the store well-stocked, recovering merchandise, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience * Receiving merchandise and helping with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards * Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment, maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders * Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable * Other duties as assigned by your supervisor **Skills and Experience:** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment (highly preferred) * Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents * Physical stamina to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting * Excellent customer service and relationship management skills * Strong organizational and communication skills * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills **Perks and Benefits:** At blithequark, we're committed to supporting your health, wealth, and mental well-being.
