Business Analyst, Modern Workplace - New Grad (May 2026)

They are seeking a New Grad to join their Modern Workplace practice, where the role involves delivering technology solutions and training programs that enhance workplace productivity. Responsibilities Designing and delivering tailored training programs that empower client stakeholders to adopt and maximize AI technologies for enhanced workplace productivity Collaborating directly with client stakeholders to build trusted relationships and deliver valuable business outcomes Understanding business strategy and objectives by studying the business function, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats. Elicits and documents functional and non-functional requirements for services to meet business needs Applying business analysis techniques, business process, workflows, and methodologies Participating in workshops to gain insights into end user and customer needs Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured requirements specification documentation Collaborating with application developers, designers, and architects to ensure a shared understanding of the business model and requirements Reviewing functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of functionality Translating customer needs into solution recommendations Proactively identifying and escalating project risks or challenges as they arise Participating in pre-sales activities including creating and running demos, presentations, drafting statements of work, pricing, proposals and responding to requests for proposal Contributing to the strategic direction of the Modern Workplace practice Skills Are graduating or have recently graduated from a university or college program related to Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Science from a recognized post-secondary institution Excellent customer-facing, communication and presentation skills Demonstrated analytical thinking and experience with business analysis techniques such as data modeling, requirements elicitation and analysis, business process modelling, and requirements management Excellent in multi-tasking and time management, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines Experience creating end user documentation and delivering training programs Embrace ambiguity and complexity with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset Knowledge of Generative AI, Copilot, Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Viva etc.) and Hyperautomation Understanding of the following concepts: Generative AI, Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Management, Information Management, Records management, Employee Experience Project management / project coordination experience would be an asset Previous experience working with a consulting firm would be an asset Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals and/or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform certifications is an asset Benefits Flexible benefits from day one Market leading personal time off policy Reimbursement for wellness initiatives that fit your lifestyle Company Overview BDO is a professional services firm that serves clients of all sizes in virtually all business sectors.
