Architect - Forensic Expert

You are a licensed Architect with 15+ years of post-degree experience. You have a broad understanding of architectural design, construction, and safety. You are already an expert. Robson Forensic will train you to be a forensic expert. As an Architecture Expert, you will: • Investigate architectural incidents. • Analyze documents and on-site conditions to determine the facts and issues at hand. • Write clear, scientifically sound reports. • Provide expert testimony. You will delve into the "why" behind incidents, critically assessing decision-making, operational procedures, and the standard of care. It is extremely challenging work, but also an intellectually thrilling and rewarding experience. You will: • Use your cumulative training, experience, and critical thinking skills. • Collaborate with highly respected experts. • Continuously learn and grow. • Make a tangible difference. LOCATION: Las Vegas, NV REQUIREMENTS • You have a B.S. or higher degree in Architecture and an active state licensure in good standing. • You have an NCARB membership with multi-state licensure eligibility and your AIA membership is a plus. • You have 15+ years of post-degree experience. • You have designed or worked on buildings with a variety of Use Groups - Assembly, Business, Educational, Mercantile, Industrial, Institutional, Factory, and Residential, mixed-use. • You have experience with code evaluation, specification writing and/or diagnosing building defects and design analysis. • You have proven experience in construction, demonstrated through contract administration, construction management, design/build, and/or general contracting. • You have an in-depth knowledge of building safety and construction technology. • Your BIM experience is a plus. • You can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. • You have excellent technical, analytical, writing and communication skills. • You are willing to travel about 20% on average. • You have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive. • Prior forensic experience is not required.
