Amazon Seller Central Advisor (U.S.-Only) – On-Demand Expert Guidance

We are a U.S.-based consumer products company looking for a senior Amazon Seller Central expert to act as an advisor and guide, not a task-only executor. This role is for someone who can be available on an ongoing basis to help us navigate all aspects of Amazon Seller Central, answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and provide strategic guidance as we manage and grow our catalog internally. You will not be expected to do everything for us. Instead, you’ll help us do things correctly, efficiently, and in compliance. How You’ll Support Us • Act as our go-to Amazon Seller Central expert • Answer questions and provide guidance on: • Adding products and variations • Listing errors, suppressions, and fixes • Category and attribute requirements • GS1 / UPC / GTIN compliance • Brand naming and catalog structure • Help diagnose issues and tell us exactly what to do and why • Shopify + Amazon operational alignment • Advise on best practices to avoid future Amazon problems • Join occasional calls (Zoom/Google Meet) as needed • Step in hands-on only when necessary (not the primary expectation) Areas of Expertise We Need Guidance On • Amazon Seller Central (U.S.) workflows and UI • Parent/child variation strategy • Listing creation and optimization (SEO + compliance) • GS1 US barcodes, UPC/GTIN validation, Error 8572 • GTIN Exemptions (when and when not to use them) • Amazon Brand Registry • Catalog audits and cleanup • Seller Support escalation strategies • Account and listing health best practices • Guide us on connecting Amazon Seller Central with Shopify for order management • Advise on routing Amazon orders into Shopify for centralized fulfillment • Ensure order status and tracking updates flow back to Amazon correctly Required Qualifications (U.S.-Only) • U.S.-based (required — no exceptions) • 5+ years of hands-on Amazon Seller Central experience • Proven experience guiding brands through: • Product launches • Catalog issues • Barcode and brand compliance • Strong communicator who can explain complex Amazon issues clearly • Comfortable in an advisory / consulting role • Experience working with U.S. consumer product brands Ideal Fit • This role is ideal for someone who: • Has “seen it all” inside Amazon Seller Central • Enjoys advising and mentoring internal teams • Prefers strategic guidance over repetitive task execution • Understands how Amazon really enforces rules behind the scenes Engagement Structure • Ongoing relationship • Hourly or monthly retainer • Flexible availability for: • Quick questions • Short calls • Emergency troubleshooting Apply tot his job
